This sunday, the franklin house is having a big stone soup style chili cook. We are providing the base of the chili and you bring an ingredient. keep it vegan please, and try to go organic with it if'n you can. Then we will sit around afire and listen to the beautiful music of Louis Ledford, of New Orleans, LA. www.myspace.com/louisledford www.louisledford.com
start with the cooking around 5:00, then we build a fire and eat, while listening to Louis take us away.
Bring your own mug for eatin if you can, as well as a couple bucks if you have it for Louis, he is on the road and we all know how much gas is these days.

hey all!
tonight is one of our last shows for the rest of the year. Jack Klatt (www.myspace.com/howlinbobbilee) and Bryce Midas (http://www.myspace.com/brycemidas) , from Minneapolis, will be playing their own solo works and some current collaborations. The evening begins will a vegetarian potluck at 6:30 and music will go from there. If it looks like rain, then we will have an intimate living room show. No one will be turned away, but we do ask for a $5-?? donation of the boys, gas prices are the death of the traveling musician.
Thanks to everyone for coming out to Webster's Get the Folk Up!. we had a great time and the after hours party was a rockin'.
