This is it guys. Each week there is a monday, and on that monday we have our little cafe to celebrate the sort of stuff that we normally keep to ourselves. This week is no different, except that its going to be insane! I know everyone's itching to show off their stuff, and you'll be well rewarded for doing so. For this week, Wash U's finest band, Clive, is playing and it's gonna be like the thrill of a car accident without any of the injuries! Wowowow!
As always, open mic starts at 8:30.
Bring your nearest and dearest.

Its going to be a great night at the Sci-Fi with The Sam Project bringing more instruments than they have EVER brought to any other show including keyboard, uke, cajon, guitars, harmonica's and more. Also performing is Infidelity, which I can best describe as Paramore meets Garbage! Andy Kohnen, who is an awesome acoustic songwriter and expressionist and has a hint of Death Cab for Cutie in his style and Justin Church who is an great song writers with awesome Charisma and always entertaining to watch! The show will be hosted by Comedian Andrew and newcomer to the Sci-Fi Lindsay Tomlinson.

According to tradition, it takes 18 years to learn Sanskrit, and even then you don't know it. You have to come back for another 18, and then another, and then another life, and on and on... Somebody has been posting a flyer, "Learn Sanskrit: It's Fun and Easy." My own flyer read "Learn Sanskrit: It's Fun But Not Easy." Pali, a canonical language of the Buddhists, is easier, but still difficult and challenging, especially when we read Buddhist religious texts. Ardhamagadhi Prakrit is much more difficult, because the grammars, readers, and dictionaries, if available at all, are not in English.

All are welcome to our Sunday Co-op Pot Luck Dinners, at the Cervantes Co-op House, 6036 Pershing Avenue, part of the WashU Cooperative Network, housing the Washington University Cooperative Library and the Cervantes Free University.
We hope that soon YOU will host one of our Sunday pot lucks, for all our neighbors. The WashU Coop started as a rotating pot luck dinner group, and a social thought reading group, which morphed into a Green Council, and then a housing cooperative network, free university, and syndicate of initiative.

How have they been related across time and culture? Do you believe in soulmates, linked together by grace, karma, or fate? What difference does it make?
