There are several food groups. You should eat some of each every day to be big and strong, so says the government! But have you been getting enough self-expression lately? Independent research says that it's loaded with amino acids and has a pleasant umami taste. And you're in luck! The co-op will be serving up a ton of it this monday evening. The open mic starts at 8:30, and then mysterious songstress Miriam Raziel will play from her project "Gathering the Sparks." Come on then, join in our little monday celebration. I'm thinking hot coco for all. Tuesday February 16, 2010

This show works a little differently: Each person's playing a half-hour set, as is usual. The difference is that instead of playing 6 or 7 songs, we'll be playing 4 or 5, and we take the time to tell the stories behind the songs, what inspired us to write them. The show's admission is either $3, or 3 canned goods, and everything from this show goes to the Food Pantry at Grace United Methodist Church. If you go to one of my shows ever, this would be a good one to go to. There's like a 15% chance you will see me cry, if that is incentive. Full lineup is: Thom Duggan Start: 10:00 pm

This week is no different, except that its going to be insane! I know everyone's itching to show off their stuff, and you'll be well rewarded for doing so. For this week, Wash U's finest band, Clive, is playing and it's gonna be like the thrill of a car accident without any of the injuries! Wowowow! As always, open mic starts at 8:30.
