Hey everyone! It's time once again for you to politely ignore your academic responsibilities, grab the pots and pans, look deep into the many chambers of your soul, and get your catharsis on at Co-op Cafe. Monday January 25, 8:30-10:00pm, "The Perry" Co-op House basement, 6021 Pershing Avenue, St Louis, Missouri, 63112

This week we'll start with an open mic. All are invited to perform for a few minutes in whatever medium of their choosing. Following that we have tentatively scheduled a mysterious wash u super group.

Expect refreshments and plenty of body heat. The fun starts at 8:30.

Thanks to all that dropped by for last week's cafe. It was a dreamy affair. This monday, round two begins with an open mic followed by a performance by WU's very own The Noam Chomskys. So, drop that heady manual describing the intricacies of X-bar theory, posit a universal grammar, and come join the co-op's very own syndic for one night only. We are the state! or something.

let's politicize the superbowl and indulge in greasy food (or not)

You are invited to the WashU Coop's fifth annual "Unhealthy Living Party," sponsored by our "Healthy Living and Social Consciousness Committtee" on the occasion of Superbowl Sunday. Come watch the game and eat greasy food. We will have health food too! You are welcome to bring your own contributions of food and drink. Vegetarians, vegans, and carnivores are all welcome! Let's all get together for mutual respect and appreciation, and good fun.

All are welcome to our Sunday Co-op Pot Luck Dinners, at the Cervantes Co-op House, 6036 Pershing Avenue, part of the WashU Cooperative Network, housing the Washington University Cooperative Library and the Cervantes Free University.

Dinner is at 7:30. We may or may not show a movie, viewer's choice.

Cervantes Free University Open House is just before dinner, 6:30-7:30pm.

It's the dead of winter and but our little cafe is heating up. Thanks to all who showed up for last week's show. It was huge. This week we'll give the open mic another go; all are welcome. Following that the incomparable Lavelle Spitz is gonna bust it up with some of the freshest stuff around. See it to believe it.
