Come join us in the belly of the beast (our basement) for a singularly momentous occasion: We are turning 6! That's right, the Co-Op has been around for SIX WHOLE YEARS!! (Actually, our birthday already happened. In March. But, better late than never!)

So come on over.
The dance floor will be jumpin.
The beats will be pumpin.
Our hearts will be thumpin (once you get here!)

We can't wait.

As always, the house band will be astounding us with their masterful musical stylings (11pm-ish). Be there or be Square (best music all night for real).

Hey Friends,

For the last coop cafe of the semester, some cats from TOMS Shoes will be dropping by.

TOMS is a company that for every pair of shoes bought, a pair is given to a child in a developing country. I believe they've done alot of work in South America.

Anyways, They've been on tour across the country in a van promoting their humanitarian shoes, and they will be doing a presentation at the PERRY!

Aside from showing a show documentary about their programs, they will also be selling pairs of their standard shoes and then...

HAVING A DECORATING EXTRAVAGANZA!

Thursday April 30, 2009
Start: 7:30 pm
End: 10:00 pm

Come one.
Come all.
That means You.
This will be the last potluck of the semester, and the only panluck!
(which means, yes, it's your last chance to actually come)
But no pressure. We would love to see you even if you don't come. Yeah, try and figure that one out.

The forecast forecasts showers of thunder, but don't let that prevent you from joining us!

So, put on your thursday best, grab your umbrella and galoshes, and come on over! Friends dressed entirely in rain-repelling trash bags are also welcome.

This is the event for you! If you're looking for free food with tasty vegetarian options and lively conversation with engaging individuals, that is. And it's all put on by two of Washington University's proudest student groups: the Peace Coalition, which promotes an anti-war agenda through multifaceted community involvement, and the newly formed Students for Endowment Transparency (SET), a grassroots movement for disclosure of Washington University's investment holdings which are currently available only to select members of the school's administration.
